Samui Island:
Covering an area of 247 square kilometres, Samui Island is the third largest island in Thailand. It is rich with natural resources, white sandy beaches, coral reefs and coconut trees. The dynamic tourism industry on Samui island has everything to offer to suit any taste, be that trekking in the wild, diving, snorkelling, windserfing or even joining the nightlife entertainment.
Samui Island is located some 84 kilometres east of the provincial capital. The island measures some 21 kilometres at its widest point, and 25 kilometres at its longest. There is a 51-kilometre ring and largely coastal encircles the island.

ani to Samui Island:
Songserm Express Boat leaves Suratthani at 8.00 a.m. daily. Travelling time is 2.30 hours. The fare is 200 baht. A joint ticket for connecting routes, Bangkok-Suratthani-Samui Island is available.
Seatran Express Boat leaves Don Sak Pier (40 kilometres from town) 2 times daily at 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Travelling time is 1 hour. The fare is 150 baht. Bus service from the railway station / Suratthani town to Don Sak are provided for their passengers with additional charges.
Seatran Ferry: leaves Don Sak every 2 hours from 5 a.m. - 7 p.m. Travelling time is 2 hours. The fare is 80 baht per sperson. Bus service from the railway station / bus terminal and town to Don Sak are available with additional charges
Racha Ferry: leaves Don Sak 7 time a day from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Travelling time is 1.30 hours. The fare is 80 baht per person.
Night Boat: leaves Ban Don Pier in Suratthani town at 11 p.m. Daily. Travelling time is 6 hours. The fares are 100 baht and 150 baht.
